Job Description:

AT Design Consulting, Inc. is seeking an experienced graphic designer who can produce both digital and physical presentations for residential architectural design to join our creative design studio in Irvine, California.  The Candidate must be detailed oriented, organized, meticulous, passionate, have the ability to multitask and be a team player.  Individual will be required to work from firm’s office located in Irvine, CA.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, design, coordinate, and complete projects on time and in accordance with company standards.

  • Design and create physical and digital presentations.

  • Set deadlines, monitor, and summarize progress of projects.

  • Order, maintain and keep organized physical and digital material/product and photography libraries.

  • Research and learn about new building materials/products in the marketplace.

  • Perform quality checks on projects for completeness and accuracy in accordance with company standards and project scope.

  • Site visits for photo documentation, measurements, and quality checks.

  • Maintain log of time spent on each project on a timely and accurate basis.

  • Coordinate, prepare, and attend client meetings to assist in presenting digital and physical presentations and notetaking.

  • Some travel may be expected.

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent organizational skills with strong and impeccable attention to detail.

  • Excellent communicator; both written and oral.

  • Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Responsible and capable of meeting tight deadlines.

  • Ability to think in three dimensions and a basic understanding of residential design (to be able read, analyze and understand architectural drawings, conceptual sketches, floor plans, construction details, civil maps, and design guidelines)

  • Ability to carry building material samples that weigh up to 20 pounds.

  • Minimum high school diploma or GED

 

Technical Skills:

  • Basic Windows OS and file structure knowledge (Required)

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Required)

  • Adobe – Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign (Required)

  • Sketchup & AutoCAD (Preferable)

 

Education:

  • Minimum high school diploma or GED.

  • Preferably 1-2 years working experience or certification in graphic design, drafting, architectural design, interior design or landscape design.
